The Firefly 2+ is the reincarnation of the notorious Firefly 2  vaporizer with 33% more airflow and a new logo. Despite the similar look, the Firefly 2+ comes with a lot of improvements for a better vaporizing experience. Other than producing delicious vapor from your favorite herbs or concentrates, it also comes with an app like its predecessor.

The Firefly 2+ is already the third vaporizer that is released by the Firefly Vapor family. The latest member of the family comes with a few significant improvements like heat up time, battery life, and draw resistance. Firefly improves not only its features but also the price.

Still as smal,l with the dimensions of 13cm x 3.5cm x 2.5cm and a tad bit lighter 0.31 lbs as its predecessor, the Firefly 2 also has the classic elegant look and feel. The design may differ minimally from the previous versions as it now has an illuminated logo, which also functions as the status indicator.

As a result of the fast heating time, you only have to wait 3 seconds to get started. Due to the convection heating and the clear air path, it gives you rich flavors of the herbs or concentrates you prefer to vape. To make it run smoothly, Firefly ensured that the airflow is improved by 33%.

The Firefly2+ has an extra-long battery life due to the firmware update, it utilizes the energy better and requires less effort to heat up. Other than that, it charges quicker than the old one as it came with USB 3.0. However, you might want to plug it into a wall with a tablet charger with 9v to speed it up. Otherwise, it may take as long as 2 hours.

Like other Firefly vaporizers, the Firefly 2+ is an easy-to-clean device with minimal attention needed. However, you must clean it after every session; otherwise, you will notice a rapid decline in your vapor quality. The vaporizer comes with all the cleaning tools you’ll need. In less than a minute, you can have everything clean again. In the case of vaping concentrates, turn the device on the highest setting to burn off the residue.

An app is available for the Firefly2+ on Android.  Unfortunately, Apple store has banned the vaporizer related app, you may want to sign the petition to get it back on.  The app is not mandatory but gives you more convenience to operate the vaporizer. Through the app, you may change your preferenced settings and modes while seeing how much battery you have left. Moreover, you can set the temperature as you like from 200°F to 500°F with the higher settings works best for concentrates.

The Firefly 2 does not have buttons, just two touch-sensors that need a little bit of learning to master. If you don’t have the app, in the beginning, you have to sit down with the manual to understand the device better. However, you can use the device as it is with the seven temperature settings as below:

• 400°F
• 420°F
• 500°F : for concentrates
