DUE TO THE NEW UPDATES PUBLISHED ON THE TGA WEBSITE ON 29/01/2025

On 29/01/2025, the TGA updated the rules regarding the supply of dry herb vaporizers to patients in Australia. All the  information can be found here:

The new update states: The ONLY vaporizers that pharmacies can legally hold stock of, and the only vaporizers that can legally be sold over the counter, WITHOUT SAS-B approval to patients, are vaporizers that are registered on the ARTG as a medical device (Mighty Plus MEDIC and Volcano MEDIC 2). All other vaporizers which have been legally imported into Australia, and are NOT registered on the ARTG, including the ARIZER XQ2, are now considered to be 'UNAPPROVED THERAPEUTIC VAPING GOODS' and the ONLY LEGAL way an 'Unapproved Therapeutic Vaping Good' can be supplied to a patient in Australia is with SAS-B approval. All 'Unapproved Therapeutic Vaping Devices' must remain in the Licensed Importers secure warehouse, until the TGA issues a SAS-B approval for the device.

Any Licensed importer of the ARIZER XQ2 must report 6 monthly to the Office Of Drug Control as to where all sales have gone, and all sales must be accompanied with evidence of a SAS-B approval for the ARIZER XQ2, before the licensed importer can release the 'Unapproved Therapeutic Vaping Device' from their secure warehouse.
